Real Terrain Hobbies aspires to be more than just a YouTube channel, but a community of hobbiests with a shared belief that creating realistic model scenery, whatever the genre, is an incredibly fulfilling process. To be able to create and bring to life another world in front of your eyes with your own hands is something incredible. Nothing can match that feeling knowing the world that lies before you was created by you, with very own hands.
The Channel
Here at Real Terrain Hobbies our goal is to inspire and guide the way for you to turn your passion for realistic tabletop terrain into a tangible work of art. Whether that be for wargaming, terrain, for your D&D miniatures, scenic landscapes for your model railroads, incredible dioramas, you name it!
Purpose
You may think: But Neil, I’m no artist! Well, my purpose is to prove to you that yes you are and it’s a lot easier than you think, whether you’re just beginning or an experienced modeler and want to learn the skills to take your models to the next level. You may be overwhelmed on how to get started, suffering from analysis paralysis or just lack the discipline to see a project through. Well, throw all of that out the window, get some simple supplies, load up our easy to follow tutorials, and *JUST START BUILDING*, using those hands through SIMPLE and EASY steps that will make something you never would have expected!
